I attended Sage Studios for the first time a month ago through ClassPass and relished in the fact that it’s just down the block from my apartment. I’ve since gone to three more classes and plan to max out my visits each month I partake in CP. I would go daily if not already a member of both CP and NYSC (What paycheck?) and plan on moving out of the area in a few months. Each class is basically a personal training session: There are usually 10 people or less per class (at least at the 6AM class) and Danny is extremely attentive to each person. He’s very keen on form and is really great at directing and encouraging you to do the work out properly.
As I write this review, my abs feel like they’re about to burst and my legs feel like bricks have been implanted into my quads while I was sleeping. Now, to be clear, I have never had abs. I’ve never felt my abs. I’ve always been convinced that I should just give up on trying to attain them because clearly I am not genetically gifted in the abular department. But one day as I was avidly searching for a new gym that would actually help me increase muscle tone and burn fat, I found Sage Fitness (through Yelp of course), and decided to purchase the Yelp Deal and put it towards 1 month of unlimited classes.
I typically go to the Whitestone location but decided to come here with a friend for a class since she lives nearby. I love the fitness classes they have here, they are so good! The classes get you into shape so quickly. The personal trainers really know good form and how to push you to your limits. You will definitely see results very quickly with these classes if you go consistently. The price you pay for these classes are excellent compared to personal training sessions at a competitor gym, because you get attention from the trainers and also a real full-body workout. TRX bands, kettle bells and push-ups are some of the things that are done in this class.
